Italiantate Villa style architecture completed in 1859.  WCHS acquired The Anchorage in 1996, restoration is ongoing.  Home of many prominent local families with connections to Revolutionary and Civil War history, Underground Railroad, Group Tours and Ghost Tours are available throughout summer and fall. Call to schedule tours or special events.
